For anyone that doesn’t know or hasn’t heard me rant about it, Joe Schreibvogel of GW Zoo/GW Exotics in Oklahoma is a prolific breeder of generic tigers, white tigers, ligers, and many other hybrids. He interacts directly with these animals,sells the Cubs off for petting schemes, and has been found to abuse his animals. He is also a supporter of private ownership.
As such, he and his followers obviously do not get along with Big Cat Rescue. A few years ago, Joe started Big Cat Rescue Entertainment, stole the BCR logo, and started to use this to tour around with cubs and other animals to attempt to pull negative attention to BCR. He has picketed BCR, run several defaming campaigns and made multiple social media posts that tout false information about BCR.
over the stealing of the logo and other slandering, BCR filed and won a million dollar suit against Joe and his zoo. Despite being offered a reasonable payment plan by BCR, Joe has not paid a cent, filed for bankruptcy, and has been chaSing loopholes ever since to avoid paying up.
