oh god those poor babies… they’re at T.I.G.E.R.S.; honestly T.I.G.E.R.S. is one of the worst, most exploitative facilities on the planet. interspecies interaction, pay-to-play schemes, breeding hybrids, breeding color morphs…there’s just so much exploitation and animal cruelty. I can’t even imagine how unhealthy they are and will be in the future since T.I.G.E.R.S. decided to combine freaking unhealthy, problematic color mutations and an extremely unhealthy hybrid. no sense..it doesn’t make any sense at all. doc antle is a piece of shit and he seriously belongs in the lowest circle of hell.

How much do you want to bet this is from the deplorable T.I.G.E.R.S.? This isn’t cute. Both of those babies should be with their mothers, but since they’re most likely from T.I.G.E.R.S., I’m not surprised if they were taken for problematic pictures like this and some exploitative scheme. Read this article about T.I.G.E.R.S. Also, I have a tag dedicated to the terrible facility.

Interespecies interaction in dangerous for both animals as when they’re babies, they can transmit disease to each other, and when they’re older, the tiger could easily hurt that orangutan. No responsible facility allows interspecies interaction (not including sanctuaries that keep different species together for certain reasons or zoos that keep dogs with cheetahs) when one of the species is a dangerous, wild animal. Stay away from facilities that do.

Highlight of the week— we got to meet some tiger cubs, thanks to the folks at T.I.G.E.R.S and the Preservation Station in Myrtle Beach! The cubs (and the three adults I didn’t get pictures of) actually live on a preserve a few miles away, and come in for ambassador sessions a few hours long in the evening. Got some pictures while waiting in line to actually pet one of these cuties :3

It kills me that this place constantly has white tiger cubs.  Please please, I know this place seems like it’s doing well but the people at T.I.G.E.R.S. are huge exploiters.  All white tigers are actually severely inbred and suffer from a long list of health problems because of it.  It is literal cruelty to breed them intentionally.  they breed ligers also, that are just unhealthy and troubled in life.  Yet the people there will try to tell you the white tigers and the ligers serve some conservational purpose when they serve none at all.  Cub petting schemes are also pretty bad.  They put the cubs at risk for a lot diseases, deprive them early of vital time with their mothers, and give the public a very harmful view about tigers.  you can read about everything I’ve talked about in the following links, and in the future I hope that you will consider the welfare of the animals and not support these places in the future.
